“Art began for me in elementary school, from art class to the doodles on the margins of each page in my notebook. I worked with all kinds of mediums. Drawing wacky cartoon characters, to taggin, to making random sculptures outta anything I could work with. As you grow up, your influenced a lot by the media, and growing up around skateboarding and snowboarding I always loved the graphics on the boards. And what better way to put your self out than to mix it in your two favorite medias. And as I got older I realized art was very therapeutic for me. It was very meditative and helped me enter the flow of things. So began working to self-express and anyone that is doing it to self-express the know what it means to themselves. To put their ideas onto canvas or paper or wall. To put your imagination out there, they are doing it. Though we starve, and hope someone would come around and buy one of our favorites for hundreds of dollars I will take whatever so that I can move on to the next piece. As I grew up I became concerned with what the media was portraying. And movies like Saw were antagonizing people to think the same. I’m sick of all the negativity and hope that people can change their values and live to inspire. A lot of people want peace but rather just wear it on their t-shirt. Well it takes more than that, it takes yourself to make moves, to be peaceful, to cause peaceful action. And that doesn’t mean we can slip up, that means we are responsible for every action. So I hope to inspire people to create, to do what the love, to dream, to be nice and love one another. One Love & Namaste.
